Summary

PehlaQadam is in its 5th year now. The PQ team at Indus is working with hospitals and NGOs to eliminate untreated clubfoot in Pakistan. We working towards a national plan that will treat 7000 children/year and save them from a life of disability. Below are our activities from Ramadan 2015 - 2016

Direct Impact

600+ children treated in PQ clinic in Indus hospital. 

Partnerships

• Pehla Qadam doctors have trained doctors enabling 14 clinics nationwide
• Working closely with Pakistan Ponseti Association led by Professor Dr. Anissudin Bhatti. This collaboration is starting clinics inside existing govt. hospitals. 
• Working with HOPE to adopt a Ponseti clinic
• Plans to work with 99 teaching hospitals in Pakistan to create Ponseti Clinics
• Working with Interactive Health Solutions to create a mobile app that integrates with the international registry and enables patient management
